# Changelog > What came into dsui and when, newest first. - URL: https://dsui.vercel.app/en/docs/changelog ## 2026-10-19 · v0.11.3 ### Improved: a sentence for each setting in the settings panel - `SettingsPanel` takes `hints`: one sentence per setting (sound effects, volume, color mode, season theme, text size, reduce motion, reduce blur) saying what it does and what turning it off changes. A switch is linked to its sentence with `aria-describedby`. `SettingsGroup` also takes a `hint` shown under its title. Left out, nothing changes. - The dsui site's settings drawer now has all of them. ## 2026-10-19 · v0.11.2 ### Improved: footer links as icons - Links in `SiteFooter` (`socials` and the rest) take an `icon`. With one, the link shows as a round icon button instead of text, and its `label` is still read by screen readers. It has hover, press and keyboard-focus states and no outward arrow. ## 2026-10-19 · v0.11.1 ### Improved: copy button wording in the hero's install line - The install command of `HeroSection` (`HeroContent`) takes `copyLabel`, `copiedLabel` and `errorLabel`, so a page in English or another language no longer keeps the copy button's name and messages in Korean. Left out, they stay Korean as before. ## 2026-10-19 · v0.11.0 ### Improved: twelve generative UI components - `gen-ui` gains Textarea, Select, Switch, Checkbox, Progress and Stack, twelve components in all. Input fields report their value to your app under their `name`, a Stack puts buttons on one row, and a Card can hold a Stack. - Fixed: in OpenUI a component that takes children now puts the child list first (`Card([...], "Title")`). A live run with a real model showed that models swapped the old order and drew nothing. ## 2026-10-19 · v0.10.0 ### New: generative UI (preview) - An AI model can now build screens with dsui components. OpenUI and json-render are both supported, and a component is defined once as a neutral spec. Adapters turn it into each framework's library, catalog and system prompt. It installs as one `gen-ui` item (`npx shadcn@latest add .../r/gen-ui.json`) and starts with six components: Button, Input, Alert, Badge, MetricCard and Card. Read more in [Generative UI](/en/docs/genui). ### Improved: a new front page - `/` is now a front page with a hero. It sums dsui up on one page and introduces this update. The earlier introduction is still at [Introduction](/en/docs/introduction), and `/en/index.md` keeps serving the same text. ## 2026-10-18 · v0.9.1 ### New: MCP `get_skill` - The MCP server has a new `get_skill` tool. With no argument it returns `SKILL.md` and the list of reference files of [the dsui skill](/en/docs/skill); with `file` it returns that file. An AI can fetch the skill when it needs it without you downloading the files. There are now seven tools. ## 2026-10-18 · v0.9.0 ### New: the dsui skill - A skill now makes AI tools follow the order of work and the rules for building screens with dsui. It covers finding and installing items, tokens and themes, copy tone, the rules for floating components and input fields, one sound per action, motion tokens, IME composition and a checklist before you finish. Download it into `.claude/skills/dsui/` from [The dsui skill](/en/docs/skill). ### Improved: a full sound and motion pass - Every component and block with a control now plays a sound. One action plays one sound, and a closed instance no longer plays a sound for an outside press. - Motion tokens gained `duration.micro`, `duration.moderate`, `delay.micro`, `delay.short` and `spring.settle` (CSS: `--duration-micro`, `--duration-moderate`), and the numbers written directly in code moved onto them. ### Fixed - In `TagInput`, typing Korean and pressing Enter no longer adds the last syllable a second time. Thirteen text-entry components now ignore keys while an IME is composing. - Removed the three finance widgets (`change-indicator`, `price-sparkline`, `point-pill`) from the registry. ## 2026-10-17 · v0.8.1 ### Improved: Reduce blur effects - `SettingsPanel` has a new `reduceBlur` prop. Turning it on removes every frosted-glass blur (`backdrop-filter`), so drawers and dialogs open smoothly on slower devices too. - The site now shows a card on the first visit where sound and blur effects can be turned off right away. The operating system's "reduce transparency" setting is followed as well. ## 2026-10-17 · v0.8.0 ### New: Settings panel block - `SettingsPanel` gathers sound (on or off, volume), color mode, season theme, text size and reduced motion in one drawer. It takes each value and a change handler as props, so the host decides where a choice is kept. - `SettingsGroup` lets you add more groups, such as language, account or cookie settings. ### Improved: Footer logo - The brand row of `SiteFooter` uses the full logo instead of the small mark and the name. ## 2026-10-17 · v0.7.0 ### New: Changelog block - `ChangelogFeed` takes `labels` (to translate its words) and `showSubscribe` (to hide the subscribe control), and an entry's summary and details can carry links and code. Pass release names instead of months to group by version. - This changelog page now uses `ChangelogFeed`. The Markdown stays the source: the `New:`, `Improved:` and `Fixed:` prefixes in the headings set each entry's kind, and entries are grouped by release. ### Improved: Themes page - The base theme shows its icons and "Hear the sounds" too, and every theme has the same illustration banner above it. - Colours stay open and the token table is folded away behind toggles. ## 2026-10-16 · v0.6.0 ### New: Illustrations - Added 17 flat-shape illustrations for heroes, section headers, card covers, page tops (404, FAQ, login, contact), the splash screen and a footer band, with the [`Illustration`](/en/components) component. `animated` turns on the entrance and the ambient loops. - Themes can draw their own illustrations. Any picture a theme does not draw is the base one in the theme's colours. The four seasonal themes drew 10 of the 17. - Added the `NotFound` block (404). `AuthPanel`, `FaqSection`, `ContactSection` and `SiteFooter` take an `illustration` prop to compose a picture in. - The app header now shows the full logo instead of a mark and text, and the site header lifts into a floating bar when you scroll. ### Improved: Control panel and blocks - The demo control panel adjusts the real properties of components and blocks (kind, size, disabled, text and so on). Accent colour and corners belong to the theme, so they left the panel, and the light/dark switch moved from the toolbar into the panel. - Added `FeatureGrid`, a numbered card-grid block. The site's services and process steps are this block. - The login page uses `AuthPanel`, the site's error notices use `Alert`, and article bodies use `Prose`. ### Improved: Addresses and versions - The library addresses all live under `/`: item pages `/items/`, their Markdown `/items/.md`, installs `/r/.json`, and the AI documents `/llms.txt` and `/llms-full.txt`. The earlier addresses redirect. - Changelog headings carry a version. The introduction shows the dsui version (`v0.6.0`) and the inventory numbers, and the site footer shows the site version. ### New: Seasonal themes - Added the themes [halloween](/en/themes#halloween), [seollal](/en/themes#seollal), [chuseok](/en/themes#chuseok) and [christmas](/en/themes#christmas). Colours, motion, the notification and success icons, the heading font and five sound effects follow the season. You can hear the sounds on the themes page. - Removed the `aurora` theme and the `aurora-palette` and `aurora-gradient` items. The 6 earlier items that used the theme moved to `base`. ## 2026-10-15 · v0.5.0 ### Improved: Site redesign - Rebuilt the devs7udio site's header, footer and content pages with dsui components. - Opened the studio introduction, Services, the Contact page and the splash screen. Added AI consulting and automation to the services. - Moved the library home to [dsui](/en). ### New: Public registry - Published the components and blocks as a shadcn registry. You can now install them with `npx shadcn@latest add https://devs7udio.vercel.app/r/<이름>.json`. - The themes [base](/en/themes#base) and [aurora](/en/themes#aurora) can be installed from `/r` too. - Added working demos to 127 items: 105 components and 22 blocks. Items without a demo hide the preview area. - Gave those 127 items Korean and English titles and one-line summaries. ### Improved: Copy and input fields - Rewrote the copy in components, blocks and demos in a friendly Korean tone. - Input fields fill with the accent colour on focus, and with the danger colour on an error. Fields such as password strength, inline edit and shortcut recorder follow the same rule. - Added the devs7udio logo and name to the header, footer and comparison table blocks. ### Improved: Clean-up - Removed earlier features unrelated to dsui (résumé, news, project board, collections, before-and-after cases). ## 2026-10-14 · v0.4.0 ### New: Many new components and blocks - Brought in 105 token-based components and 22 blocks, covering inputs, overlays, data display and charts. - Charts use the brand series colours (`--series-*`). - Renamed the item type "composite" to "block". ### New: Sound and theme roles - Added 11 sound effects and connected them to components such as buttons, tabs, switches, dialogs and toasts. - Let themes change and inherit icons, sounds and motion by role. - Switched the typeface to Pretendard Variable, and let themes inherit type, corners and shadows too. ### Improved: Polish - Changed the default button to the brand blue and added a yellow accent variant. Main buttons inside blocks are blue too. - Button text size follows the button size. - Floating components such as menus and tooltips now have a border the same colour as their fill. Tooltips point at their target with a small dot. - Credited the open-source projects and sound effects used, in the footer. ## 2026-10-12 · v0.3.0 ### Improved: Token alignment - Aligned the `--ds-*` tokens with the variables in the Figma design file. - Merged the separate devs7udio brand theme into [base](/en/themes#base). ## 2026-10-08 · v0.2.0 ### New: New items - Added components such as profile header, point pill, inverse banner, benefit summary and expandable row. - Added the membership benefit card and stock widget card blocks, and the change indicator and price sparkline they use. - Added Korean market colour tokens (red for up, blue for down). Arrows go with them, so colour is never the only signal. ### Improved: Themes and accessibility - Fixed the text on the accent in [aurora](/en/themes#aurora) light mode to pass WCAG AA contrast, and added a check for theme contrast. - Darkened the light-mode success colour so it reads on low surfaces too. ### New: Documents for AI - Opened `/llms.txt` and `/llms-full.txt`. - Added a screen description to each item, based on its thumbnail, so search finds items better. ## 2026-10-07 · v0.1.0 ### New: MCP server - Opened a read-only MCP server at `/api/mcp`, protected by API keys and request limits. - Added a stdio server you can run on your own computer. - Built the data that sends shader and motion items to Figma. ### New: Item pages - Added the source, the combinations that use the item, copy and share, and a Markdown view to item pages.
